Costcutter has over 2,220 stores and 11,000 individual product lines, which meant gathering packaging weights and analysing data to ensure compliance with the Packaging Waste Regulations was a huge administrative task for the company.

In 2015, Costcutter appointed Valpak to reduce the administrative burden of their packaging data submission and ensure they were complying with the Regulations.
Since then, our Data Management service has been responsible for calculating Costcutter’s data submission and ensuring that it is “as accurate as reasonably possible” as required by the Packaging Waste Regulations.
