Providing J.D. Williams with packaging insights and support with WEEE scoping and environmental compliance submissions
J.D. Williams took up Valpak’s Data Insights service, meaning they now have a dedicated account manager with expertise on the Packaging Waste and WEEE Regulations. Valpak accurately scopes products to ensure all that need to be included in their WEEE submissions are included, and products that were previously included that no longer need to be are removed.
J.D. Williams also subscribe to the Valpak Insight Platform, which enables them to interrogate their packaging waste data and identify suppliers of FSC paper and wood. It also helps them to identify undesirable plastics suppliers, meaning they can take steps to reduce the use of this packaging type.
J.D. Williams has been a Valpak member for over 20 years. They have attended various Valpak seminars, webinars and workshops and find our Data Management Team to be supportive.
At the end of last year, they subscribed to Valpak’s Insight Platform. This has enabled them to remove the headache of splitting the data into the various sections in a very complicated form and helps to eliminate the risk of limited staff being responsible for collating and submitting data. The information stored on the Platform provides J.D. Williams with an insight into their packaging usage by supplier and also enables them to identify environmental risks.
