Plastic Packaging Tax White Paper

The UK Plastic Packaging Tax is a HM Treasury led initiative, which is expected to come into force in April 2022.

This tax will apply a £200 per tonne flat fee to plastic packaging that contains less than 30% recycled content. It will directly affect plastic packaging manufacturers and importers in the UK.
