Valpak were commissioned by Euro Garages to reduce the administrative burden of completing the regular packaging data submission and more importantly to ensure compliance. To this extent, the relationship with Euro Garages is fulfilled by Valpak’s Data Insights Team. They are responsible for specifying, collecting, and calculating the packaging data submission and ensuring that the data is ‘as accurate as reasonably possible’.

We were chosen to provide this support as we have an excellent awareness and clear understanding of the associated requirements. Through a tailored Data Insights Service, Valpak’s expertise and support provides Euro Garages with peace of mind that everything is covered and delivers a no fuss, cost-effective solution.

Once a year the Data Insights Team requests the necessary data from Euro Garages and then carries out all the collating and compiling of the data for the company’s annual submission.

As well as ensuring compliance, another key benefit is the substantial staff time and resource savings.

In total, the Data Insights Team spends twelve to fourteen days on raw data manipulation, weights collection, weights data analysis, completion of the data form and submission of respective data to the Environment Agency.

In addition, Euro Garages is provided with a written methodology detailing an accurate audit trail, so that the company is prepared for a possible Environment Agency audit.

Furthermore, the Data Insights Team attends any such Environment Agency audits as and when required. This ensures a total solution for Euro Garages, so they can continue to focus on running their business and there is minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.
