WRAP Local Authorities Plastics Collection Survey

We brought a fresh insight to this annual report, in terms of the data analysis, information interpretation and presentation of findings.

In addition, due to the ready access that the Consulting Team has to Valpak Northwest’s MRF, it was able to carry out further assessment of LA collected materials, through analysing the data collected as part of routine quality assessment procedures.

• A very high survey response rate; 380 local authorities (80%) participated
• Comprehensive analysis & interpretation of a large quantity of data, providing up-to-date information, comparable with previous years
• Estimations of the HDPE/PET split of plastic bottles collected and the potential levels of contamination, by UK Region (new to 2008 report)
• Detailed report, presented in a very clear, easily readable manner and packed with useful tables, charts and maps that help illustrate the findings
