You are obligated under the The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) regulations

You must comply with RoHS and therefore need to determine which substances are in the products, whether any are on the restricted substances list and how these compare to the allowable thresholds. You should have an ongoing system in place to check for these substances and to ensure ongoing compliance. Current restricted substances are: lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) or cadmium. In 2019 the following will be added; bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP),butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP),dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP). From 2019 you may be obligated under the The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) regulations

Please be aware that in 2019 the scope of the WEEE regulations is changing to include “all other EEE that is not otherwise exempt”  therefore unless you have a specific exemption you may need to comply by 2019.
