A producer who puts EEE onto the market in any member state (excluding the UK) via distance communication, shall provide the appropriate authority with information to demonstrate that the business has complied with the obligations in each respective member state. Information should include the following:
- the amount in tonnes and units - and by category - of all EEE intended for use by private households and users other than private households, placed onto the market of any member state (excluding the UK) on or after 1 July 2007
- details of compliance with producer obligations in any member state (excluding the UK) onto which you have placed EEE onto the market
Records are to be maintained for 4 years, and should be made available to the appropriate authority on demand.
