Some of the projects we've worked on;

This project was funded by the Waste Resource Action Programme (WRAP). Working with Sainsbury's stores and logistic company Christian Salvesen we looked into improving front of store recycling at six London stores. The project involved installing our acclaimed Valpak rescape™ banks and assessing public participation rates and the increase in customer loyalty.

We are working with the agricultural consultancy ADAS to assess the economic feasibility of collecting waste plastic from the UK's 120,000 farms. We are undertaking operational trials of various collection techniques and recommending to a government steering group how to provide a sustainable collection infrastructure.

This project - funded by RAY a subsidiary of the regional development agency Yorkshire Forward - assessed the feasibility of collecting more glass from licensed premises in the Yorkshire and Humber area. The project measured current recycling, the barriers to increasing recycling and the willingness of licensed premises to pay for the service.

Working on behalf of LASU, we provided case studies of good practice in recycling throughout the UK. These case studies were used to develop a Good Practice Guide that was made available to all the UK Local Authorities in order to improve the efficiency of their recycling infrastructure.
