The PAS 141:2011 Certification Scheme for the Re-use of Used and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment was officially launched yesterday (27 February 2013). At a high-profile event at RDC’s Braintree facility, the largest IT recycling and re-use site in the EU, leading industry representatives heard a keynote presentation from Mat Crocker, the Head of Illegals & Waste at the Environment Agency, as well as presentations from other key industry stakeholders including the newly UKAS-accredited Certification Body, Oakdene Hollins.
