Very likely. Any company which sells packaged products, electrical products, or products which contain batteries directly to end users in Europe will usually be obligated to comply. There are also obligations outside of the EU in many countries.

Use of the Green Dot is obligatory in some countries, but not in others. If you are distributing packaging which displays the symbol into any country, you will need a licence. Valpak can advise you on these requirements and on how to comply.
