• How do I know if I am affected by the CRC Regulations?

  These regulations currently affect all businesses that owned at least one half hourly electricity meter in the UK on 31 December 2008. If your business owned at least one half hourly electricity meter on this date, you should have, as a minimum, registered and possibly should be fully participating in the scheme on an ongoing basis.

• How do I find out if my business owns a half hourly electricity meter?

  If your business owns at least one manufacturing site, industrial premises or modern office it is extremely likely that it owns a half hourly electricity meter and will be required to, at least, register with the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme. You can find out if your organisation owns half hourly meters by looking at your electricity bills.

• I am obligated under the CRC. Can I outsource my data collection and reporting requirements?
