Are you the brand owner of packaging that displays the Green Dot® which is then sold in the UK? If so, you must pay a UK licence fee. However, it is not obligatory to display the Green Dot® on packaging that remains in the UK.
The Green Dot® is commonly misinterpreted as a recycling symbol. Valpak wish to make it clear that the Green Dot® is NOT a recycling symbol. In the UK it is deemed as a trademark agreement. In many European countries it means something completely different.
