Did you know that there are a number of environmental laws that could affect your organisation? These may include: The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations, The Packaging Waste Regulations and The Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations.

Your first step should be to find out if your organisation is affected by any environmental laws. If you are obligated, you should ensure that you are compliant. It is important that you are aware of these laws, as you could face environment agency prosecution if you are obligated under these regulations and are not complying with them.
